Well decided a little public humiliation might help...lol

Here is my fat ass today at 258...I honestly think that the idea of eating clean/working out has become almost a habit for me the last couple of weeks and it has sunk in deep. Now, of course as the pizza rolls in and the soft drinks are being iced for the game, I thought it would be a great time to take a pick and post it so that I can use the visual aid (my gut) as further motivation. My goal would be to drop some fat on a constant basis, about 2-3 lbs wk, 12-15 lbs a month, ultimately shredding getting down to 14-16% body fat.....Im guessing thats about 50-60lbs....Like to see some of the ole viens, Ive missed them..... I posted my diet and cardio/lift routine on a separate post and will make changes as I go along, but have made a promise that I will visit this forum and the my picture in this post everyday as a reminder. away

nice one buddy, im sure you will succeed in your goals, and really wish you the best of luck. at 14-16% bodyfat you likely wont see a great deal of veins, altho its a genetic trait in some people. 10-12% and you will be a veiny git id imagine.

    nice bathroom by the way

Anyone know how this can be moved over to the Diet forum....Id like to continue this post with updates on progress and think that as time goes on, Ill have more diet questions and think that would be a better forum for obvious reasons....thanks in advance....oh, and pulling the CM from my daily intake, 5 days of the craps is all I can handle, hoping to switch to a CEE soon and see how it runs, but CM sucks for me

Hey good luck with what you're doing. I am about 280 right now...I'm not really fat, but I understand that you want to shed some of that fat and get to looking fit again. I weighed about 225 a year ago and was much fatter than I am now, so things are looking on the up and up, just like I'm sure they will for you .

    Welcome, TBucket.

Congrats on making the commitment and taking the first steps towards a better, healthier body!

Looks like you've got a good, broad torso. You're able to carry a lot of muscle on your frame. Get the body fat down and you (and everyone) will be amazed at what you probably already have under there.

    Cheers, mate!

I'm in a similar situation as you. When I started I was between 18%-22% BF and my goal is 10%. Clean diet and cardio every morning is the route I'm taking. I don't recall where I read it, possibly on this great forum, was something that sticks with me and that I think of when the going get's tough: "Your desire to change must be greater than your desire to remain the same."
Good luck and stick with it!
