You make an excellent point my friend. But I'm afraid it's not that simple. First off, you're in the UK, where it's legal for personal use. Here in America, they have a very warped view of steroids. Sadly, it is more socially acceptable to do a line of coke than a cc of test.

Secondly, and the biggest problem, is putting yourself on the line with the GF. When you first meet a girl and start dating, there always comes that question of steroids. You have 2 options. Hide it from her or tell her. Sounds simple, and moma always said that honesty is the best route. But it's not that easy. If you tell her, and then were to break up (in a bad way at least), there's the chance she may go blabbing her mouth to the whole world. And like I said, rec drugs are far more acceptable to this ignorant society we live in. So, typically a guy will keep his mouth shut for fear of either turning off the girl to a "Roid raging, sex hungry, musclehead" or having his business spread across town.

But this leads to even more problems later on down the road. If you lie to her, and then find yourself in love months later thinking this girl might be the one, you have this little secret that turned into a big, relationship-threatening, problem. You can't just tell her "Hey, babe, I've been lying to you these last 6 months. I use steroids." But you can't keep lying to her either. So what do you do?

First off, I never have more than two weeks worth of stuff at my house.

My GF knows about my use, but I still don't leave needles lying around. I usually hide them in socks that are too ugly to ever wear, but this time I've just slipped them in the far back part of my medicine cabinet drawer.

If your GF doesn't know, I'd stash it somewhere in your bathroom, so incase you ever spend a WHOLE day with her, you can just tell her you've got to take a "dump".
