Randy Couture is 43 years old.. What's my excuse..

I am in way better shape than 99% of the fat a$$ population of the US... But when I saw the Couture/Silvia fight I was blown away and inspired...

Randy dominated an opponent who was 12 years his junior, 6 - 7" taller, and who outweighed him by at least 45 - 55lbs.. This makes me wonder.. If a 43 year old man can do this what the hell is keeping me from my goals that are not nearly as lofty??

Sorry just kinda makes you think ya know.. When the old man goes out there and makes us all look bad it's time to suck it up and get the work done.. Kinda makes all your excuses for not giving it the intensity you know you should look kinda shallow.

When Joe Rogan said there are very few people in this world that can make you question the possible and when a person can do that they are very special. Randy is one of those people. He was the first wrestler to truely cross train, he is not nearly as well rounded as some of the other competitors but is decently proficient at other things. Randy is a one of a kind.

It could also be because most of the ufc's heavyweight division is crap and Randy is just a bad ass.

Randy and everyone at Team Quest are amazing athletes, i dont think that age is a factor depending on how you treat your body.

    And live your life too.

I am 34 and seen people my age fat bald and awful looking, but they got smashed every night for long periods and more.

Yet i played badminton the other night with a 85 year old man he fried my ass. Theses older people are insipration and dont make age a barrier.

I respect Randy Couture, a part from being a great athlete he is a great person and a great MMA sponsor.

I've gained alot or respect for Randy these last couple of years, from the way he handled the Iceman fights to the way he dominated to become the heavyweight champ...class act.
