my girlfriend has just come into work to bring me a present,a fu**ing kitten!
i dont even like cats and the bloody thing wont shut up.
she bought it cus i had to put my dog down a couple of weeks ago and she thought it would cheer me up.
what do i do?i just dont like cats
should i let it loose,or just give it away.but dont wanna hurt the mrs feelings

I also hated cats. Trust me it will grow on you. I love dogs more but I enjoy the personalities of our cats though. They have such individual personalities.
P.S. You GF will be really pissed off with you. But she should have asked first maybe? But then it wouldn't have been a surprise.

Cats are awsome man, They don't need tons of attention and they are alot easier and more independent than dogs, if you dont want to give it attention, it will just sleep in a different room all day and not give you any problems. I have 3 dogs and its like trying to take care of kids, when I had cats I never had that problem.

find someone to take care of it, do not let it loose or give it to a shelter. if this is the case, i dont give a fck where you live, i will take the cat off your hands. animals need people to take care of them, not throw them away. if your not up for this, hey fine, but make sure that cat is taken care of by someone responsible, i am sick of the disreguard humans have for other living creatures. it is a defenseless baby. would you rather see it die or help it live?

going to share a story, i am not much of one to talk about my personal life, but this time i will make an exception
my one office is in the middle of a metro area in a so-so neigborhood, i left the door of my office one day, and this cat came in, small kitten, beat up a little, i fed the cat and cleaned it up a little, cat spent the whole day in the office, i let her go when i closed, next day, cat came back, i asked a neighbor if they knew who's cat it was, she told me it was a stray. now i did NOT want a cat, not at all, but i couldnt leave this animal back on the street to face god knows what kind of danger, so i took the cat to a vet and kept her. she is a bit ill tempered, but so am i! lol! . all and all me and the cat are buddies, and the cat is a god pal for my dog.
a few days ago i ran into that same neighbor who informed me that there was another stray kitten in the neighborhood and some sick FCK let their piti bull intentionaly kill the animal in front of some kids and elderly ladies...... i can tell you how bad this eats at me inside!!!! to think this could have been the fate of my animal if i didnt step up to the plate makes me more glad i saved her. we are all capable of helping the weak. the choice is simple, you are either a "superman" or you are not. what is your choice?
on a side note, i told the elderly ladies and the neighbor hood kids to come and get me if they see that guy again.in my eyes, he is a dead man already.

I hate cats, but I have one living with me, and I have learned to accept it. It is a little spazzy, and ruined my 6 month old $3,500 (CDN) couch set... but what can I do? It's a little kitten who needs a home.
BTW, my girlfriend got it to cheer me up... and it didn't work.

this kitten is actually growing on me,not half as annoyin as it first was,but it does claw and bite everything,mrs thinks its teething.
my mrs was sat on the bed with it when i got out the shower this mornin she held my pecker and i thought we were on,but she just waved it at the cat hopin it would claw it.
i wasnt impressed but she thought it was hilarious,
maybe my pecker is too small for the cat to be interested.lol.
oh and it still doesnt have a name...any ideas?

I love cats! They are independent but have cool personalities. i had to give mine to a friend when i moved because my new place didin't allow animals....but when i had her before I had just started dating Brian and when he came to stay for the weekend my cat pissed in his suitcase. hehe
she was a little territorial i think.
anyways the only thing i hate about cats is the smell of the litterbox. yuk

saw the post about someone shooting the cat with a bb gun a few months back and that made me sick. If anyone were to ever hurt any of my dogs or cats and their dead where they stand, to me their my children. It's sick to abuse something that cant fight for Itself..
