depending on the person and the area of the quad they can be painful. some people hit a nerve everytime the shoot quads. some never do. make sure your hitting the right spot. a warm shower and massages for afew minutes usually helps.

How many times have you hit your quad?

My quad shots hurt at first, but like any other muscle, the soreness goes away with repeated shots into the same muscle.

I seem to hit a nerve just about everytime I do a quad shot causing pain just from the needle going in, let alone the gear. I would rather rotate glutes to delts for my shots.

If quad shots hurt you're probably injecting too low.

yeah I find that the best rule of thumb is to stand with your arms relaxed at your side, and where the tip of your middle finger lands on the side of your quad is where you should inject.

Even my first injection only left me sore for a day or two doing it that way, and every injection after that was perfect. Maybe i'll cycle again one day and see if things have changed?

I have found that a large heating pad, that you can plug in to an outlet works great after a quad shot I put it on there for about 10 minutes and just chill and im good to go. Try that they are very inexpensive and can be a leg saver haha
