    I came to a conclusion....

I came to a conclusion that 95% of the threads made in this forum are the exact same threads that have been created numerous times. And yes literally 95 out of every 100 threads are the same that have been posted throughout the last year. If the people that sign up here that are new or even the members that are a few months old that are still learning can just use the search function for their questions, they would find 10 separate threads on their same question and have all the info they could ever want on it.

In turn if this were to ever happen, the forum would be so much more clean in terms of organization and only truly new threads that really haven't been posted before would be created. So everytime you sign on to the forum you actually see threads you have never seen before. Basically all I am saying is there has to be a better way to get the newer members to use the search function to clean up the repetitiveness of the threads. This is going out to no one in particular.

    Anyway, I have a dream.

    Temporarily hijacking the thread:

Kale please tell me that you know the girls in your avatar and that the picture was taken right before you got both of them at the same time.
This would restore my faith in the world.

You are one of many that have had this dream and posted this. I think it's good that there are so many threads on each topic. By having this, you are constantly getting different members giving there advice and other points of view.

Questions and answers, thats the name, so if some newbie joins he can come right here and have a hands on conversation.. If i have a question i will do a search.. But in alll reality i think this is the first place to ask questions, and not all old threads might have the answers someone is looking for.. Its funny even though the same questions are asked over and over , someone always replys to it, and thats why its here.. PEACE

    Not true.

There is a big difference in responses when some says, "whats a good steroid for my first cycle?"

    VS

"Hey I'm planning my first cycle with test e, for this long, at this dosage. I have this and that on hand. Here are my stats. What does everyone think?"

As much as I agree with you, it's also our responsibility to be patient and polite when replying with our "use the search button, cheesedick" remarks.

The ultimate goal is to bring these members into this site as productive and informed members, not scare them away.

Exactly !!!!! But they still should be asked in a polite way to put in some effort, such as "Please cheesdick, use the search button"

I agree with fLgAtOr. I would much rather deal with people that have done there foot work. It would be more of a challange and would hopefully make responders think and research more as well. It is also nice to know the original poster put in some effort. If some wants to ask what works better for PCT that is one thing but for someone to ask what PCT is mid cycle I can only say WTF. Especially since there is an entire forum dedicated to it. One would think they would at least try and read something there before asking about it.

yeah, the search feature is useful, but if you have a question about say, deca, how many threads to you think that returns? It is much easier for people to just ask their specific question and have people help em out. Usually people are posting/doing research at the same time to try and get the answer as fast as possible. But obviously if you are dealing with someone who clearly has not done any research that is annoying as shit. But if someone asks a pretty good question that the answer to was buried on page 10 of a 6 month old thread, you can't really blame them for not finding that.

it happends on all types of forums. sports, auto, steroids, etc. when someone signs up to a board its usually for a specific purpose or question. so they ask it and get flamed to do a search. its gonna happen. dont let it bother you to much.

This site has helped alot of guys who knew nothing about AS myself very much included. I see the repetition of questions like everyone else, d*mn it I do it myself, but this site was created to help guys like me get it somewhere near right. I admire all the moderators, senior members and the like, who put their heart and soul into answering questions. Whether they have been asked a thousand times before or not, someone always has something to say, offering reassuring advice. Whatever the the opinion and I guess its all prevalent, im just thankful that sites like this exist.

You can usually tell how much research and effort someone has put in by the question. No one expects people to find every post out there but they should at least have the information on the steroid profiles down before asking a question about something like deca, or ask for clarification on a point mentioned in the steroid profiles.

Funny thing is, we're all preaching to the chior.

About the research though, the time you put in is part of earning your stripes. When I did my first Fina conversion, I can't even begin you tell you how involved i was. I had multiple stickies and threads pulled up at once. Comparing each step. Writting down supplies. Checking measurements. Looking at pictures. I did all this before I asked my first question.

Shit. I was qualified to write my own Fina Conversion before I even did it. In fact, I might do that sometime.

Absolutely...And this was kinda my point. It requires patience on our part to guide them in the right direction (self research), but also to let them know that there is a HUGE resource of real people that are also willing to help out.

I ALWAYS go back and check on threads that I've told people to do a search on. I try to follow up as much as possible for the reasons I mentioned above. Guide people to do the work, but let them know that there are INDIVIDUALS keeping an eye out for them.

I'm still here because I honestly enjoy helping and showing people this lifestyle. People ask me a diet question (face to face) and my eyes just light up. It's obvious that it's my passion to the other person, and they tend to respect that. Make sure you remember that when you help someone on the board as well.

Another thing that I do when I'm in a good mood:

Scroll down and reply to the threads that no one has replied to. Even if it's a stupid question (and it has a "do a search answer"), I think its important (for the reputation of the board) not to let these go unanswered.
