How To Do A Source Check!

My best friend got scammed out of 600 dollars today whyBecause he did not do his dang homework! What did he get? Not a dang thing! I hate seeing people get ripped off. Hope this helps for newer people who are desperate to find a source.

If you dont know anyone that cant or wont help you then you are gonna have to do it yourself. Follow these simple steps below, and you can thank me later for the cash you saved from being scammed.

    1. Obtain your source that needs to be checked

    2. Do the dang leg work yourself! E-mail the Source and ask for references! If the dude wont give them up, find another person!

    3. Once you have the email addresses of the references, google them or look them up on boards! Im sure most will be Mods or Vets!

    4. Check the addresses of the ones that the source gave you and the ones listed in the Mods and or Vets profile.

    5. Whatever account that the reference has, you get a corresponding one. email 1 to email 1 etc

    6. Follow the boards guidelines! Be patient! Post quality posts. Most boards require so many posts and days of membership before asking

    7. Google for scammer list. There are a lot of boards that post who is ripping off people. I did it and have 320 e-mail addys that are know scammers.

    8. If it's to good to be true THEN IT IS! Most all Domestic Sources work by e-mail alone! Dont be fooled into ordering from a website that claims they are Domestic. (They are Just as dumb as you)

    9. Dont make a jackass of yourself on the boards! Most Domestic Sources will look your ass up as well! So don't lie when you say I am A Mod Or Vet on this board. They want to know who the hell you are just as much as you want to know who they are.

    10. Find a source? Then don't go telling the world unless your source says it's cool. (I couldnt tell my friend nor order for him)

    11. Learn how to do "Advanced Searches" Below is some tips and tricks to weed out the garbage.

    12. If you find a source use a encrypted e-mail address. Aol, Yahoo, MSN etc = not good idea for you and your source. Hushmail is who i recommend

    Advanced Searches

    1. Be as precise as possible in your search. By using an exact search phrase, you're more likely to get the answer you're looking for. "This helps you find an exact phrase on a Web page and will usually lead to the information you are looking for very quickly

    2. Get to know what Boolean searching means, and does. Boolean search terms allow you to get even more precise with your queries. The three main search terms — "AND," "NOT" and "OR" — enable you to include or exclude certain terms in your results.

    3. D it quicker with implied Boolean. Implied Boolean, the cousin to full Boolean search terms, is accepted by virtually every search engine. Plus, it's even faster to use. For example, if you want to ensure that a particular word is in the results, use a plus sign (+), such as "Henry Ford" + benefactor. If you want your results to exclude a certain term, use a minus sign (-), such as "Henry Ford" -car. For best results, use both

    4. Build a "nest." Face it, you may not always know what you're looking for.let's say I'm looking for recent articles I've written. But my name is constantly misspelled, Sometimes my byline is "John or it's "Christopher." And "Elliott" is often incorrectly spelled "Elliot." Nesting to the rescue! If I want to pull up all of my articles, I type "Articles" OR Chris AND Elliott OR Elliot) and I won't miss any of my articles.

I really question the validity of "domestic" sources. One should order the least suspect item on the list and check the validity of this item before ordering in bulk. What kind of a fool must this person have been to throw $600 to a person they didn't know, I'm not sure.

I have been scammed before online, but I never lost more than $50 doing so and instantly reported the site on a scammer list.

The More posts about this the better. Funny how you get negative responses when you post a thread that is just trying to help people out.
