thats why im doing a test on all my babies when they are born, and i dont have trust issues, its just you never can be too sure
That's not really ****ed up... makes sense to me.
And guys get a bad rap.
I thought it was common knowledge that women cheated? Women are also most likely to cheat when they are most fertile.. also common knowledge?
I don't see the big surprise?
not fed up at all... i talked my two brothers into getting their babies tested once the mother gave birth (4 babies total)... there is no wya in hell ide raise another mans kid unless i knew for sure that i could not have kids myself i have nothing on adoption (5 members of my family ranging from 4-45 years of age) and i love em just like i love any other member
no not the dudes asknig for test... i can't believe women would do that... a MILLION! I mean that's alot of people.
Yep... the worst part is if you keep calculating the odds.Originally Posted by zimmy

Even without birthcontrol... at the very minimum it would take about 8 times to get pregnant on average ( I remember readin that somewhere). So then cheating wives are at least 8 times more common then children born to other men... that's something like 24% of wives cheating?
Oh man thats bad...
I can't imagine the emotions if this happened to you..that would be like the end of the world.![]()

Add my wife to that....did the percentage change?
Being cheated on is bad enough without having kids around that may or may not be yours. Once that is brought into the equation even Mr. rogers is gonna have a shit fit and screw some lives up!
WOW
That is insane!. If and when i have kids i am getting them tested after reading that. holyshit thats f*ckin crazy, and a lil sad to.
The worst part is the doctors might not even tell you.... wtf kind of sh*t is that? If that happened to me and the doctor knew and he never told me and then i found out, me and that doc would have some serious issues.
doctors don't run those tests unless requested.
I'm not surprised it happens. But i couldn't imagine if i was married asking my wife for a test. If i didn't trust her i wouldn't be with her. Not if it was some random girl i slept with then that is different.
I couldn't imagine your relationship being the same after you insulted your wife by asking
the part that threw me off the most is the one guy that got stuck payin support for the kid, and it aint his....bitches...
Sorry, I had to do it.

this thread is amazing
You would never tell your wife you're going to do this. You would take the kid for some ice cream or something and then swing by the Doc's or lab on the trip. You would then have the test sent to work of something like that. She would never need to know.Originally Posted by gixxerboy1

I read an article very similar to that one a couple years ago. It got me thinking.
Paternity testing should be legally required when a baby is born, if a father's name is being written on the birth certificate. It should be illegal for the hospital to write his name down until the test results are in. Think about it. Before the hospital staff would be willing to write the mother's name on the certificate, they have to see her give birth in person first. Then why do they just write a guy's name on there after being told verbally that he's the father? It's inconsistent. As long as the paternity testing is legally optional, the guy will look like an asshole for insisting on one. If it's required by law, the man doesn't get that shit stuck on him, because "it's the law". Nothing he can do about it!
Also if this testing were required, women might be less likely to cheat, and less likely to lie about their cheating once they're pregnant. They'd know in advance that this test is coming, because it's required by law, and they'd think twice about a lot of stuff.
On second thought they should do two paternity tests, administered by two different people, to reduce error and foul play, and require that both tests confirm paternity before writing a man's name on the birth certificate.
I feel like writing a letter to my congressman, or starting an on-line petition or something.
Also the woman should not get to know in advance anything whatsoever about who will do the paternity testing.
one reason why i hate most women out there
i'm getting a paternity test on my kids.
isn't it like £200,000 to raise a kid to the age of 18? fvck, if i'm spending that kinda dough I ain't gonna spend it on someone elses sprog.
Plus I'd hate to raise a dumb kid, like if she got knocked up by some dumbass and I was raising a kid who couldn't read or something I'd be pissed off. If it had my genes at least I know it wouldn't be entirely retarded.
might have a predilection to postwhoring though, but I can live with that
yea i have read in a mag (i think playboy) that 25% of house wives cheat and 35% of "Public working women" cheat and i have also read that 50%+ of men cheat but like i said not wya in hell ide raise another mans kid
and yea snrfmaster i have read that it is about 300,000 USD for the normal people and and far more for lower upper class
The kid would still be mine, the BITCH would be dead !!!!!!!!! Screwing around is one thing but this is on a whole other level of evil
