It was a great lead up and explanation as to why he became so cold and emotionless etc.
I loved it, and it wasnt all over the place. It was a classic bond.

i just watched it tonight. thought it was pretty damn good. the only thing i didnt like was the first action scene which was just dumb.

oh yeah, and as for the thread..it is suppose to be a prequil..as far as story line is concerned...but its obviosuly shot present day, so theres a minor inconsistancy there but it doesnt bother me, cause i thought the movie was freggin awesome.

The movie was showing why he became the way he was, the lessons he learned that shaped him into the JB we know from the previous (but chronologically latter) movies.

I think Daniel Craig is the most fit and best James Bond yet! Great movie, love the action and the casino scene too!

I honestly have this movie in my top five!! Probably behind Braveheart which is obviously the greatest movie of all time and Scarface. Casino Royale was great! I can see why James Bond has been such a great movie franchise. All of Pierce Brosnan JB's sucked ass and were cheesy with SEXY women, but this one was great, raw, and with SEXY, SEXY women!

Yeah, My wife loved Pierce Brosnan. I can't stand that fag, his Bond movies did suck except for the women. Daniel Craig kicked ass as Bond in Casino Royale with class!
