    Beach Body

    I know this forum is more a bodybuilding forum than anything else, but all other forums mostly are dead and bodybuilding too.

    I just wanted to know if I can get a solid workout plan for a beach body. I'm inexperienced with lifting ... at least not strength training..I'm currently 195 lbs 5'11'' around 15% BF. .

    I'd like to get a solid chest back bis and tris obviously....abs would be fantastic and obviously like a college chump that I am I don't wish to work my legs as much as everything else but I am more than willing to try whatever workout plan I can be put on

    its been a long time since ive been on a diet and solid workout plan and it'd be nice to look good on the beach for once...thanks

    Sounds like a cutting diet to me....check the stickey at the top of the diet section...see what you can come up with and what you wold be comfortable doing... post it here and let it be critiqued

    you have way too much research to start on for anyone in here to give you any great advice...

    Oh, and by the way... i would work legs if i were you. Training your lower half not only releases hormones that speed up fat burning, but some exercises actually work upper body in places you wouldn't even think possible..... First thing you need is a diet, check the cutting stickies at the top of the diet forum main page.. Good luck.

    I think everything has been covered here. Check cutting sticky, post a diet to be critiqued, workout your legs, and report back!

    thanks for the help a lot of guys in the WO forum demolished me...thanks for telling me about those legs i definitely dont want to be one of those top heavy guys but im not looking to look like im on stage either...

    The legs are the most important muscle to build because they're the biggest muscles in the body. The more muscle, the more fat you'll burn ALL OVER the body. Also, doing squats and deadlifts for your legs will also work many upper body muscles as well. When I started hitting my legs harder my waist sized dropped and my shoulders got bigger, it was awesome. Diet is first though!
