    Got a bike?! Post it up.

    If you've got a motor/sportbike post the type and mpg. Give me some opinions on what to buy.


    In August, I have to commute weekly on a 8-hour, 500-mile roundtrip for work. I'm interested in getting a sportbike with only gas milage in mind. Also, I've never driven a bike before. I'm aiming at under $5000.

    Yamaha R1, this pic is from about 6 months ago, I've added a good bit more carbon fiber since then. I'm not sure what mpg is, but mph is impressive

    Yeah I had seen a pic of this exhaust on one bike, it took me almost 3 months of research to find out what it was and find where to get it. Had to have it imported.

    It's made by Blue Flame, but it's a lot like the MV Agusta pipes.
    Would look great on a speed tripple, those are great looking bikes to start with.

    Dude if your going to be commuting 500 miles in 8 hours you are going to hate yourself for buying a sportbike. Try going with a sport-tourer.
