    25 - 5'6" 153lbs. First time

I am really dedicated to the gym and my diet is fairly good but I am wanting to put on more size and get some gains. I am considering Deca but I was wondering if anyone could advise me on if using Deca alone will be a waste of time or if I will see results.

You need to straighten your diet first. Deca alone will make results but there is a very good chance your pee-pee wont work

We don't recommend Deca alone due to the risk of libido and boner issues. It is a good idea to add a little replacement Testosterone since Deca will shut down your natural test production from teh very first shot.

You also need to understand PCT as it is the most important part of the cycle

I feel like I am in really good shape but I just want to get on that next level. So Deca/Test cycle then?

You may want to look at a first cycle of test only for about 12 weeks. Being your first cycle you'd be amazed at what that can do. Then on your 2nd go around add deca w/test. You should respond very well to test E for 12 weeks. Use that cycle as a baseline, so when you add deca on a 2nd cycle you'll know how you respond to deca.

I'm not discouraging you from test/deca cycle, but test E for 12 weeks would do you good, and it's recommended test only first cycle.

    Test E 500mg/wk taken 2 x's week. (250mg/shot)
    and an AI.

    good pct.

Read up on this board. Read the stickies and stuff for newb's.
    Good luck

Yeah all the advise is appreciated. I am starting to alter my diet and eat healthier as well. I lift M-F and do a little cardio on Saturdays. I feel like for my size I am strong ....but on protien and vitamins alone I have hit a plateau.

I hear you bro, you came to the right place. But just spend a lot of time reading all the good info on this site. Use the 'search' function and/or just surf around for a while. Read, read, read then start asking some questions. Most of your questions you have right now, I guarantee have been asked and you will find every answer you need. Just read up.

    Asking for sources is prohibited.

Your present weight seems light for AAS. I'd strongly recomend adding some size through proper diet first.

I have a source but I know Deca is the most counterfeited product out there. I would like to put on some size but I have a fairly hard time doing so. I take in about 2,000 calories just from protein shakes alone. Plus I am eating lots of chicken and quality foods. I slip up every now and then but never eat fast food. Bar food sometimes on the weekends, but wondering if Test/Deca cycle would even be worth the risk right now?

unless ur under 10% bf I'd hit the food and weights before doing anything. I'm 5'7" and dint touch gear til I was over 220. it might not be easy but u can put on at least 30 more quality lbs without gear. and believe me, gear is not the easy way out. u still have to work just as hard and can lose it quicker than u got it if ur pct isn't right.
hit 185 and then start thinkin. ull be real thick and have a good base for gear. another reason I recommend getting bigger gefore gear is injury. often when people start gear too early they injure themselves.
this is (imo) for 2 reasons tha really are related to 1 issue. when u start too early muscles, ligaments and tendons are not ready for the extra burden of the weights that your new found strength has allowed u to use. the second thing is that when people start too early it usually means that they have not matured as a bb'r. u have not found ur optimum form yet. u haven't learned ur body yetan u haven't tested ur limits yet.
long story short, I'd wait a while and then juice away.

    good luck

feanixco, im new to this as well and am juggling between just test or stacking it... ive read a lot and it seems like a good idea to just run test first cycle to see how your body reacts and adjust accordingly... i will probably run a test only cycle soon, but i might kickstart it with some dbol as it usually takes 4-7 weeks to notice the test e.

Thanks Caban good advice. It's so tempting because I am by far the smallest guy and my workout buddies all played college football in Texas so as you could imagine they are large and cut. I know I wont ever be as strong as them but I want to step it up and I am very dedicated often times more than them when it comes to workout time.

all that means is when ur finally ready to hit the gear ur be a beast. I had the same problem. I was always a very strong kid and had dedication. all my friends juiced years before me and would fly passed me in gains. but trying to keep up with the sauce boys and being natural actually helped me. I learned my body very well and pushed myself very hard, more than I do now. now I'm the big guy a lot and the motivation to surpass is not as strong. I'm 5'7" 238lbs, 12%. beliv me tat 20lbs on my frame really did magic. ul be alright, just don't do it for other people, do it for u when ur ready

Post your diet in the diet section. You probably need between 3200 and 3500 calories, consiting of proper macro proportions to gain weight naturally. The majorty of those calories should come from whole foods, not protein shakes. I'd limit calories from protein shakes to 1200 or so. The rest should come from whole sources such as chicken, steak, brown rice, yams, potatoes and oats. If, after getting your diet in check, you're still not gaining, increase the calories by 200 until you do. If you still don't gain weight, see your doctor for a possible medical condition. It took me 3500 calories at 168 llbs to start gaining. I gained 25 llbs naturally in 4 months. Started Test E cycle after that and have put on additional 8 llbs in 6 weeks.
