have done countless inj into the shoulder, last inj went smooth painless no problems as usual next day it was fairly sore, but that may not be so uncommon for me yet then day by day on day four now it is getting more sore and swollen,,,,its not red or anything just sore and a bit swollen up hurts to lift arm above shoulder height pretty bad

What was the compound(s) you administered and at what dosage(s)?

Sometimes I have the same problem when im using longer pins on my delts and go a little too deep. Should be fine in a couple days as long as theres no visible infection or anything like that. I mean you are shooting a foreign substance through a metal tube into your muscle, your body wont always agree.

It shouldn't be hurting more and getting more swollen 4 days after your inject ( and you said its also warm ).. You have to take the right anti for it to be effective, you cant just take any antibiotic .. Keep a eye on it and go see a doc if it gets worse.. Infection is no joke and its better to be safe than sorry when it comes to stuff like this IMO..

gf had it prescribed after a tetanus shot when she stepped on a rusty nail so i figure it is probobly the closest thing they would prescribe for that considering she injected herself with something dirty...

You really need a doc to look at it and figure out what it is so he can prescribe the proper meds if needed..
