    Personal trainer certification

I want to get certified as a personal trainer. Where is the best place to get certified. Anyone with personal experience with this?

Depends where you live. I'm up in Canada and I recently got mine.

Just go to a local gym and ask them what is the most widely recognized certification company to go with.

tons of websites. many you can study for and just take the test. some you have to go to symposiums tho.

easiest and nationally recognized include: nsca (national strength and conditioning association) and ncsf (national council on strength and fitness)

The best organizations to use would be ACSM, NSCA, and ACE. ACE is the best known of the three but ACSM is the most stringent on its certifications and is generally considered the best.
