HGH effectiveness vs steroids

This is a question for anybody who has had experience with both HGH and traditional steroids. If you had to compare the effectiveness of hgh or the like to the effectiveness of traditional steroids like testosterone and the like for a sprinter, which one would be more effective? Would the HGH even come close to the results you will get from testosterone?
