anyone thought of using a frozen drink machine for protein shakes?...

Just hit me, I could pick up a used machine pretty cheap. Then I'd have protein on tap 24/7. Anyone else done this?

As long as you don't have clean it that often it would be great to have it on tap.

A buddy of mine that owns a resteraunt says those things have been a pain in the ass because of how much cleaning they need. I think you can only keep it going for 2 days or so at a time so I don't know if it would be worth it. Otherwise...great idea!

I worked in a bar when I was in Baton Rouge and we had like 30 daquiri machines. We cleaned them every night, but that's a legal thing. I think in my kitchen which is quite clean, it would be fine for a few weeks. Think about it, if the drink stays frozen, it won't spoil. I have to check into how much electricity these things use.

I love to cook but I hate doing dishes. I wouldn't have to clean out a damn blender 3 times a day.

Yeah, I have officially crossed the line if this happens...
