In previous thread (i.e.,
http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=352980), I talked about this developing health problem. My results from a throcic echocardiogram confirms minimal left ventrical enlargement with minimal leaky valves. I spoke to a non-specialist doc and have to follow up with a cardiologist.
I've learned that enlarged left ventrical is common to bodybuilders, especially those who use AAS. This is something not overly discussed in pro-steroid magazines like "Muscular Devepment." Nevertheless, enlarged LV is also associated with high blood pressure as well (such as the case when clenbuterol is used).
also, left ventricular enlargement is can be recognized as a non-negative issue in athletes who put ;large strains on the organ. Distance runners, swimmers, and yes weightlifters are among common company with the issue. It isn't just significant among drug users and if the distinction is "minimal" I doubt it may have even been caused by AAS.
Also blood pressure issues can be onset by many different courses and i think it is a mistake to ssume your stint with anabolics was to blame. some of the snabolics used do increase BP, but length is not readily documented and overall BP health isn't for sure effected. Again, it sounds like AAS isn't directly responsible.
In my case, I was admitadley reckless. Although I was doing moderate dose of AAS (this year, TEST E @ 700mgs weekly), I used albuterol @ max end of protocol and drank coffee on top of this. Dumb! I would do this right before high intensity cardio (dumber). I have been smoking on and off too all the while (Dumberer).
I failed to monitor my Blood pressure while on the albuterol.
If there's a moral to this story it's BE RESPONSIBLE with your drug use. It's your health that's at stake. When I talk to the specialist, I'll tell you more about how I injured my health. Maybe my foolishness will be a wake up call for the would-be fool.
