    Cottage Cheese Mixtures

i was curious to everybodys personal favorite cotton cheese mixtures..
what do you guys like to eat it with, i just discovered how healthy fat free cottage cheese is, and i dont have the slightest clue how to eat it...definitely dont want to eat it straight like tuna ..

by the way, ive noticed alot of people adding english muffins to their diet for breakfast.. English muffins obviously dont offer anything special but carbs right? i was just curious to why maybe people add english muffins to diet plans versus just plain wheat bread?

English muffin, wheat bread, they both suck....Anyway, lots to do with curd. All natty PB, cinnamon, splenda is the best. If you want to keep fat out of the mix try putting some berries in there.

when you use cinnamon do you just mix it with cottage cheese and put it on bread or something ? or just eat with spoon

Eat with spoon, I know it sounds funky, but its good, trust me. If your seeing bread in a lot of people's cutting diets it just means that there are a lot of clueless people out there. Ezekial bread would be the only decent bread option and even then there are better choices out there for carbs (have some oats for breakfast). You dont have to eat traditional brakfast foods just bc its breakfast time if you know what I mean.

I sometimes take a can of solid albacore in water, drain it and dump it in a bowl. add a few chopped olives, a little bit of chopped pickle, 1/2 C of FF Cottage Cheese, and a little bit of Hellmanns Olive oil Mayo. Mix that all up in the bowl and season with black pepper and onion powder. Then take about 3 egg whites and scramble. Take the scrambled egg whites and the tuna and cottage cheese mixture and roll it into a flour tortilla. Viola! you got yourself a F*cked up burrito!

I don't know if I'd do this on a strict cutting diet, but maybe it gives you some ideas..

I buy a brand that comes with chopped chives in it. It tastes much better and without any added sugar.

dude I personally don't like the texture of ff cottage cheese so this is how I get around it. My bedtime shake consist of 1/2 cup of ff cottage cheese, 1 scoop of optimum choc casein protein, 1-2 spoonfuls of natty pb, mix with 1 cup of water and a few ice cubes in a blinder and you wouldn't believe how good it taste. It's like cheating but its good for you!!!

my personal cottage cheese concoction is hood cottage cheese (the 2 cup size) with dole mandarin oranges added. I usually go to the store 2x per week, so I buy 4 of the cottage cheese containers, and one pack (comes with 4 separate cups) of mandarin oranges. I just open one mandarin orange container, and let the fluid drip out of it, so it won't make the cottage cheese too leaky. When the water is all drained, I just dump the whole mandarin orange container right into the cottage cheese container, give it a good stir, and eat the whole thing before bed. Some people think mandarin oranges are kinda sour, but for whatever reason, while I was in the hospital for several months, I just craved mandarin oranges...but they didn't have them there. I was so happy to be able to get them, that now I eat them every day.
