Oil ran out of injection site

Just pinned with 1cc test e. Cut the cap on my 1.5" needle because I was injecting into my delts and didn't want to go that deep. After I pulled out, a stream of oil ran down my arm out of the injection site. Never had that happen. Did I not go too deep into the muscle? What can I expect from this? I imagine not all of the oil was absorbed into the muscle.

try useing a smaller gauge neddle next time.

also try to pull the skin to one side and hold while injecting then release after you pull the pin out ,this will cover the hole leading to non leakage.

huh.. its like it leaked from your muscle. I think it did not go deep enough thats why it happened so.

Should I be worried about getting some redness/swelling in the area? Any chance of an abcess?

if you don't want to go that deep then just don't push it in that deep....i would not modify a syringe in any way though.

and yes, it leaked out, how deep did you go? for a delt you want to go just a little over 1/2" at least and probably more like 1". I'm a small guy and i go 1" deep on the delt.

after you are done injecting give it a good 5-10 seconds before removing the syringe then once you remove it use a piece of gauze to apply some pressure to the injection site to keep it from bleeding. This will also keep the oil in the muscle.

Terumo syringe/needle.

The cap that "snaps" onto the base of the syringe that covers the needle, I cut it so that you can only insert the needle so far into the muscle. A nice trick my buddy showed me that prevents you from going too deep, and allows you to only buy one size needle.

I would say I ended up going .5" deep. No real pain or anything this morning when I woke up, so I'm good to go.

leave the needle in there for like20 seconds after injection is finished and your problem will be solved

I have had this happen before twice in my quads. No big deal really it happens. But i think its caused by a couple things the second time it happened to me i know it was from pulling the needle out to quickly after i finished injecting

are you sticking the same spot over and over.....this can build scar tisssue and make it difficult for the oil to move.....also as mentioned above wait like 20 sec. before you pull out...... saying all that......it still happens sometimes!!
