Questions on Albuterol; re: fat burning and side effects

    Hey all,

First some history to give you the overall picture.

I stand about 5ft 9in, and am currently 29yrs old.

Around 2006 I started to hit the gym because I was about 240lbs. I'd do 40min of cardio about 3x a week. Unfortunately I never really watched my diet so the weight loss wasn't much :-/

I got down to about 230, 37%bf and around mid 07 I did a whole load of research on this site and did a 2 week cycle of clen - after my cycle I was 215, 30%bf (bf as measured by my craptastic bathroom scale, but it should at least be consistent).

Around the end of 07 my forearms and shoulder were a wreck and I couldn't lift anymore, I decided to take a break and let myself heal. Unfortunately I never got back on the horse and now I'm at 220lb, 36%bf.

I'm looking to do a cycle of albuterol to try and shed about 20lbs of fat and to get some strength back. I've done a lot of reading on here about albuterol, but I can't find anyone talking about the negatives. I know the risks with clen were an enlarged heat and valve damage, but I'm wondering if albuterol has similar risks? I'm partial to albuterol because of what I'm reading about the HDL/LDL benefits as well (I've just recently "learned" to control my diet).

I'm reading that albuterol should be dosed 3x a day (about 4 hours apart) not to exceed a total of 24mcg a day (safer at 20).

If a bottle is 60 ML at 6 MG/ML how many "pumps" is 6mcg? (is mcg the same thing as mg?)

    thanks all!

    1000mcg=1mg
    thanks all!
you don't need albuterol or clen right now, your best course of action is to get your diet set, then up cardio and see how your body responds, then adjust diet and cardio till you are getting results, after you have done that for a while clen/albuterol would be a good addition, but if you add them in now you won't know which variable was responsible for the weight loss

btw, you should be doing cardio 5-6x a week at least, personally right now i'm cutting so i'm getting 10-12x

I agree with what you're saying in principle, but right now I'm working 16-18 hour days (part of the reason for the weight gain) and I can't get in as much gym time and cardio as I'd like.

I can probably only realistically do cardio Fri/Sat/Sun (maybe 2x on sat and sun). If/when I can hit the gym its between 10pm-12am usually.

If I was just being a lard ass and sitting around at home all day I would take your advice (which, btw, I've read a lot of what you have to say about albuterol and I appreciate it).

FYI, I've got my diet down to:
    handfull of nuts around 8am
protein bar (low carb) around 10am
lunch between 12-2 (usually a small salad with chicken, no dressing)
    low carb snack at 5pm
sensible dinner by 7 or 8 (less carb, more protein)

Wouldn't the albuterol and cardio just work better together?

i don't want to break ur spirits down but ur diet still sucks u need to post this in the diet forum and iam sure that members will do the best to help get ur diet together.
on the other hand, u still can use clen but the most important part is fixing ur diet.

diet needs work, and i'd be happy to help you with that if you post everything you eat for one day in the diet forum

where do you work 16-18hour days

yea...I know my diet isn't perfect. But right now I'm trying to focus on eating small meals more often. I usually only eat once at noon or so and again at 11pm; both terrible, greasy, fried, easy to get meals. Baby steps

I'll start trolling/searching the diet forum to get it worked out.

I'd rather not say where I work, but I can say it's sitting in front of a computer all damn day so I don't get much exercise :-/
