A sport coat will look good on you if, and only if it fits you well. So find a b&m shop with a good tailor and you'll be set.
If you'd rather shop online due to your preferred brand or design being unavailable offline (for a reasonable price), make sure you buy a sport coat at a size that will fit you best as is, and then go have it tailored.
If you lift and eat as much as the rest of the guys here, you'll absolutely have to get your sport coat tailored for it to fit good and look even better. Most sport coats these days aren't exactly made for guys 52" chests and 34" waists. LOL.
