Otherwise, if you feel like being risky, you might get a 10ml syringe and fill up the entire syringe with the gear (since it is plastic) and stick it in your pocket. This eliminates the metal on the vial and shouldn't set off the metal detector. Check the needles (They don't know if you are diabetic or not)
