    AWESOME true story

A TRUE STORY FROM... "THE HOUSTON HERALD NEWSPAPER" IN HOUSTON , TEXAS MARCH 5th, 2009

~ Last Thursday Night Around Midnight, A Woman From Houston, Texas Was Arrested, Jailed, And Charged With Manslaughter For Shooting A Man 6 Times In The Back As He Was Running Away With Her Purse.

~ The Following Monday Morning, The Woman Was Called In Front Of The Arraignment Judge, Sworn In, And Asked To Explain Her Actions.

~ The Woman Replied, "I Was Standing At The Corner Bus Stop For About 15 Minutes, Waiting For The Bus To Take Me Home After Work. I Am A Waitress At A Local Cafe...

~ I Was There Alone, So I Had My Right Hand On My Pistol, That Was In My Purse, That Was Hung Over My Left Shoulder.

~ All Of A Sudden I Was Being Spun Around Hard To My Left. As I Caught My Balance, I Saw A Man Running Away From Me With My Purse.

~ I Looked Down At My Right Hand And I Saw That My Fingers Were Wrapped Tightly Around My Pistol. The Next Thing I Remember Is Saying Out Loud, " No Way Punk! Your Not Stealing My Pay Check And Tips."

~ I Raised My Right Hand, Pointed My Pistol At The Man Running Away From Me With My Purse, And Squeezed The Trigger Of My Pistol 6 Times!

~ When Asked By The Arraignment Judge, "Why Did You Shoot The Man 6 Times?

~ The Woman Replied Under Oath, "Because, When I Pulled The Trigger Of My Pistol The 7th Time, It Only Went Click

    Clearly this is a fabrication.

The judge only talks to your lawyer at an arraignment.

For the sake of argument, maybe yelling "stop or I'll shoot" and then firing a warning shoot would have got the job done. Where I live this woman would be going to jail for a long time. I know things are a little different in texas.

    ^^ haha,

Law would state she should go to jail, as he was not a threat to human life. Would be a different story if it was a 13yr old !!!!

Sorry. I have a hard time listening to you guys all say how great it is to kill someone over a few dollars.

Bravo! Some crazy bitch killed a petty thief over a days pay.

Actually it was a joke about a women defending herself against an asinine predator that would rather steal her hard earned pay than to get off of his fvcking ass and go to work. That being said, I spent ten years in prison for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, and I am still on parole for it. I understand the nature of the crime and the risks involved both for the victim and the perp. I dream of being somewhere that someone tries to rob the place now. It would be the ultimate opportunity to pay my dues. I will choke the motherfvcker out with my bare hands. It isn't about killing over a few bucks. It is the violation of basic human decency and the right to be secure in your personal property and space. It is about not having your time and dignity stolen along with your purse and the few dollars in it. It is about pride and honor and right vs. wrong. Don't want to be killed for petty thievery? Choose a career with honor I say.

But I see your point bleeding heart liberal tree hugging freak. What are you ten? Hey do me a favor will ya go grab some STFU while your at the soup line passing out free food to able bodied people.

You sir are awesome! I agree with this 100 percent. Not only is the guy stealing her purse and the money to feed her children he just made this woman fear going to work and affected her for the rest of her life. If this was a true story than the guy deserved what he got and more than likely she also stopped a drug purchase. In my book if you have the ability to steal and run you have the ability to work. I see this way too often where I live. People around here collect over 2k a month in welfare and don't have a damn thing wrong with them.

For a waitress a little cash probably goes a long way. There is no way she would have been able to recover her loses, so in a sense the robber was putting her life at risk.

No pity for the guy who targets a poor little waitress. 6 bullets and a box is more than he deserved for that.
