I have lost weight many times by using the treadmill. I like to go at a good pace then speed up, then run for four 1 minute intervals, almost at a sprint like pace. A sports Doctor that I see once told me that you could somewhat confuse the body by doing this, at the time I thought I was burning too much and my system would start to go after the lean muscle tissue?
Here is the problem, after a while my knees start to feel weak, and I get a pain right behind my knees like someone leg whipped me.
Any advise here, old shoes, old treadmill? A kid once told me that running on a treadmill was very bad on the knees, but you see everybody doing it.
