Ok so here is the deal.......I am 6' 275 lbs (was 285 when I started). I am back in the gym 6 days a week now. I am also hypothyroid. I am so lost on what to do. My goal is to lose this damn beer gut I have worked so many years to perfect. This is my 3rd week back in the gym. Right now my daily routine is:
7am wake up, thyroid meds (Armor Thyroid 180 mcg) 1-2c black coffee
9/9:30am protein shake (mixed with H2O)
11/11:30am 4-6 hard boiled egg whites
1pm ish 1 grilled chicken breast
2pm creatine
2:30pm ish gym. 45min' ish of weights followed by 35 min cardio, increasing to 45 min
4pm protein shake sometimes with banana and reduced fat peanut butter, or strawberries mixed in. (mixed with H2O)
5:30/6pm 2 grilled chicken breast.
7:30 or so fruit for snack, apple or pear.
8pm protein shake. (Mixed with H20)
10pm ish another pear.
10:30-? bed.
I know something here is not right. I am trying to read through this forum for help, but it gets pretty overwhelming. Anybody have any suggestions?
I also really could use some help with a workout routine. I am not new to the gym, but I have never really had a solid routine.
Just a fat former Marine who is not happy right now.
