Anyone get Deca prescribed from Dr. 4 Joint pain? Docs prescribing it at all?

Been reading a few articles but can not find anything concrete. got to go to the doctor on thursday and would like to know if anyone out here on this board has or is getting prescribed Deca. and for what and what dosage?
I am reading a lot about its help with joint pain and I have horrible knees! Would love to give the doctor a good argument why she should give it to me but would want some good evidence or articles to show her. she is a really cool doctor so if I can find a good article even to show her, may just get lucky If anyone knows of one or has any experience please do tell
    Thanks

Wow, good luck with that. Most doctors will just recommend you take an OTC joint supplement, and if they do prescribe something, if it is just pain then they will prob just prescribe for you a pain killer (and depending on severity) maybe something like Vicoden. Or an anti-inflametory if that is your problem.

Hope someone can help you out with some evidence though. Good luck.

Vicoden?? Psstt! I have not been on Vicoden for 7 years! I have been on pain meds for 11 years now! I am on 60mg of Methadone a day right now and that is like the equivilent of probably 60-80 Vicoden a day! (Methadone is 10-20X stronger than Hydrocodone)

Found this post on another board from someone in a pst discussing the same thing as this one:

"My doc has me on Test Cypionate and Nandrolone Decanoate for my joint pain issues. I just started on the Nandrolone last week, so I don't know if the joint pain will go away or not, but only time will tell.
Good luck and keep us posted."

DAMN, I feel part of your pain, I have been on Hydrocodone for YEARS due to 3 herniated disk and needing a fusion.

Pain sucks. I also tried to get my longevity doc to give me Deca but he knows nothing about it. I have read some longevity clinics do prescribe Deca still so I'm going to make some phone calls this week.

Well i have found a bunch of forums and some articles that say it is good for joint pain and things like that but i would really like to find an article from like a "web md" or a sight like that! Maybe an article that talks about some doctors prescriing it for joint issues, I have found an article that says it has bee prescribed in low doses for osteoarthritis but that is as close as I have came. Would just absolutley love to get some HG Deca to run along side my trt at 200mg a week that would be ggggggrrrrreeeeeaaaaatttttt!!!

I would not even care. I am hoping to get it more for my joint and back pain than for the anabolic properties. although I would not complain about getting a higher dose

look in to DMSO. lots of PL'ers live by it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyl_sulfoxide

here's a fairly shitty explanation of it.

Basically, a bunch of old arthritic janitors used it as a cleaning product, after using it all their arthritis went away. Mildly liver toxic but what isn't these days?

Odor Free Aspercreme is also enough for most people to get through the workout
