Laws on syringes and needles.

I've bought needles before with no prob. But the last time I went to the doctor supply store, they said there was a new law that I need a prescription to buy syringes and needles. And I always thought it was against the law to refuse anyone trying to buy those. So luckily I had a prescription from a freind and I bought a box of my syringes and stuff. So is it against the law or what?

Has anyone else had such experiences?

I go to different pharmacies to see what they have . Chain stores seemed to have 25 gauge and smaller @ 1 inch . I got tired of asking and requested they order me some 23 gauge 1 1/2 . Idiot just ordered needles . So I ordered a box of syringes . Now I have a year supply by mistake .

depends on your states law. call a local pharmacy and ask. some places just have you sign a ledger that shows proof of what you bought.
Remember ' you live on a farm and treat/vaccinate your own animals'

The only problems I've ever had is white knight hero Pharmacists trying to bitch about the adverse health effects of the use of Steroids.

Then I asked him if he was a Doctor.

He said no.

Then I asked him to define or describe the molecular compound of 'Testosterone'.

He couldn't.

In italy you can buy needles and syringes in pharmacies without any medical prescription,also in same supermarket,just go here and ask what you want.They give you without any questions about theyr use

diferent countries / states, Different laws! All depends where you are, Some states in the USA allow people to purcase a small amount every week just to make sure thay are not spreading any diseases from dirty needles! Other places do not care and figure to shit!

it must be a state by state thing i have always just gone to any pharmacy here in RI and bought them.

It's a state thing. I live in Oklahoma, and it is illegal to buy syringes without a prescription here. So I go to the feed stores. All my syringes are sterile, individually wrapped, and say " for veterinary use only".....
