~run warm water on the vial/amp before injection....
~massage injection site pre and post injection
~inject slowly.

Good tips. make sure muscle is loosened up. Sometimes if my muscle is a little tight and i inject it will be sore but ive never had one swell up

Never had those problems myself. Might be high ba content but the swelling i would be concerned about. If it's hot to the touch you need to get to the docs.
