I completely agree I don't get it. I see women everyday over here in Ireland with what amounts to be honest 5 tons of make up on their face every concievable type of mosturiser etc and "product" it's all because of this fake advertising that causes it all. I prefer a natural looking women than one that when their make up comes off your looking at a completely different person.

I do too, if they can pull it off. Most women I see without makeup though.....need it!

    agree

but at same time i rekon men have it just as hard these days

i mean were sticking huge amounts of hormones in out body

(with side effects like breast tissue development, hair loss, blood pressure, water retention etc)

taking thyroid hormones, dieting strictly, going gym neally everyday

    intense workouts and cardio

avoiding alcohol and un healthy foods

all just to look good to the other sex alot of the time

i think we have it just as hard

u look at the TV these days and men are portrayed as muscular, lean, , ripped with abs and super strong

^^^^ and most the time the characters they play are just average people lol in reality shows and soap operas? lmfao wtf seriously

either way its not a good thing for men or women

but its funny how theirs this huge beauty obsession in modern society these days, yet the obesity rate continues to climb in almost ALL countries?

    ironic just abit

I have had a couple girlfriends that look 100% better all natural, no makeup, that is the way I like it. A little bit when you go out on the town is fine but I like natural beauty or at least in my eyes.

I would not date a woman who wore a LOT of makeup.

Maybe I'm getting old but I'm tired of totally hot women (for dating, one night stand is fine). I'd rather date a "pretty" woman they seem to have an actual personality.

I think everyone is being unfair. Hot women are targeted daily for ridicule and biased criticism. This has got to stop!

I dated my wife in the early 80's when big hair and lots of makeup (especially eye shadow) was in style. The first night she spent at my apartment she washed her face before hitting the bed. I was so shocked at seeing her for the first time without makeup I almost broke it off. Kinda like false advertising I thought.

Now her make up is subtle. My daughter on the other hand is a tad over the top.

I think women go in cycles to be honest until they find "their" own style. Thank god the women I'm with is normal with her make up. Makes her look much prettier imo.
