Generic version of Nolvadex

Is the generic version of Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) as good as the the brand name Nolvadex?

With my prescription plan, I get free generics but have to pay a $15 co-pay so I was just wondering. My endo (I'm on TRT) may prescribe it for me if needed (if I get nipple issues).

So is the generic version of Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) just as good?

Prescription drugs are chemically the same from name brand to generic. So free is good.
