    Which is yours?

    I came up with this thread last night and thought it would be interesting to see what everyones answer is.

    Lust
    Gluttony
    Greed
    Sloth
    Wrath
    Envy
    Pride


    These are the Seven Deadly Sins

    We all do them, whether we believe they are sins or not. If you had to choose, which is your biggest one? Only one, and why?

    A lot of us could say 'all seven'. It's not meant to be an easy question, so think hard. I have been trying to figure out what mine is since last night, and i still don't know.

    This might help -

    Lust: Usually thought of as excessive thoughts or desires of a sexual nature.

    Gluttony: The over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste.

    Greed: Another sin of excess, to have a very excessive or rapacious desire and pursuit of wealth, status, and power.

    Sloth: The failure to utilize one's talents and gifts.

    Wrath: Inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred and anger. These feelings can manifest as vehement denial of the truth, both to others and in the form of self-denial, impatience with the procedure of law, and the desire to seek revenge outside of the workings of the justice system.

    Envy: To resent that another person has something that you perceive yourself as lacking, and wish to deprive the other person of it.

    Pride: Considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and indeed the ultimate source from which the others arise. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to acknowledge the good work of others, and excessive love of self.

    I dunno..... pride I guess.

    The thing that gets me is "uncontrolled feelings". How can something outside of your control be a sin? Stupid religion......

    Gluttony I would say the most.

    Bit of pride too but the most powerful one for me would be gluttony for sure..

    When I do something I go over board and dont know when to stop.

    What ever it maybe in, training,relationship,emotions and so on..

    Gluttony- comes with bodybuilding
    Greed- comes with being American
    Sloth- i am the least of this but have been guilty at times
    Wrath- im learning not to hold grudges it serves no one
    Envy-it happens
    Pride- it can be a strength or a downfall dpending on how it affects you.

    It's so cliche to say all of them..... but..... well....... I think different times call for different sins.

    LUST: This one has got me lately, must be all the test I'm on.

    GLUTTONY: I do EVERYTHING to the excess

    GREED: This has worked out well for me so far.

    SLOTH: I'll admit to being pretty lazy lately. Just working out and farting around this forum.


    WRATH: only when I'm on tren.

    ENVY: this is the one I'm worried about the least. God, it's good to be me!!

    PRIDE: see above.

    Has anybody picked just one? Maybe we should list good traits. I would have a problem coming up with ONE good trait about me. Sins, now, I got those covered!!!

    It's not saying it's outside your control, it's saying feelings (or thoughts) that we choose not to control, and thus end up controlling us can be sinful.

    Like, if I get so pissed at my ex fiance who left me on Valentines day and ended up being a cheating little whore, and I start thinking fvcked up thoughts about her...I can choose to let it go, and control those thoughts or let it take over me.

    But, yah, my answer is pride for sure.

    I agree with most of that. Lust I think comes with having test... No test for me lately.
