    Wink Any benefits taking creatine while doing P90X

    Well in 2 years i will be 40 years old and yes my ego just jumped in and i am doing what most near 40 are doing jumping on the P90X bandwagon.

    I have satisfied of the progress so far, its been hard to get them pullups and more.

    Now i was wondering if there would be any benefits taking Creatine Kre alkaline during my P90X training?

    My goal is to lose some weight, my diet is in check i am in phase 1 of P90X so small meals and low carb for now.

    benefit? ...yes. Strength and size. ....to you? no. You want to lose weight. creatine will make you gain water weight and gives you a slightly bloated look.

    If you want to take it though take it for only 30-40 days at the begining. asumming the p90x system is 90 days long (i dont know what it involves)

    Thanks guy P90X can get really sick at some point and i do need my ATP to keep on pushing. Weightloss is a very big word, i would say transform the body instead, losing fat and not muscle this time around.

    Take your creatine, but more important is your protein. Take a shake right after your workout no matter what, even if your doing the 2-A-days, that means two shakes a day, one after each workout. Don't buy the P90X supplements, just a good old fashion whey will do the trick.

    Nah i stick with good ol Optimum Nutrition for my protein best there is.

    Muscle weighs more than fat.It is possible to gain weight,but yet burn fat.P90x is a great work program.What day are you on,and what workout program are you doing?
