    what do you think ?

    Hi All,

first post in a LONG time but hopefully you can help me out

i have got my hands on some sus 250., i want to do 2 shots a week.

i recently worked my guts off at the gym and got down from a fat 220lbs (26% BF) to 194lbs (about 18%)

i still have a little stomach fat, im just wondering what kind of results i will get eating a strict calorie controlled diet (low-ish carbs, high protein & moderate fat) while doing sus 2x per week. (effectivly cutting rather bulking)

i will be running PCT after it etc.

i just dont want to get a big fat mess again like i was previously.

    Any thoughts/advice is greatly appreciated

good job on the weight loss. i would try and cut down a little more before starting.

Its really hard to say what results you will get. your diet and training are going to determine that.

Are you going to a-dex on hand for during the cycle?

Eat lean (diet plays a MAJOR part). Trim skin/fat off your meat before cooking. Carbs can be deceptive, some are short (which are great for energy) but some are long and will just make you fat.

Check out the diet section. Those guys will be able to help you.

And good luck. Please let us know how you go.

i know im not eating enough of the right things but my diet basically centres around this

    breakfast: oats and protein shake

snack: protein shake and almonds/organic peanut butter

    lunch: chicken and steamed veg

snack: protein shake and almonds/organic peanut butter

dinner: lunch: chicken and steamed veg

and right before bed i a have a slow release protein shake.

if im hungry throught the day i snack on fruit and the odd protein drink, i drink plenty of water etc

before training i have 2 bananas and a small portion of oats with a protein shake.

my goals if i was to start is to tighten/trim up a bit more and put on a bit more muscle but its no problem if i don't

i have letro on hand but ive had it 5+ years not sure if its still good. was purchased from a research chemicals website most people here will know

way to many shakes and not enough real food. Substitute some of those shakes for chicken

I would have to agree. Simple carbs can be good for a quick boost in energy if you're going to use it right then, but it's the simple or "short" carbs that will get you fat. It's the complex carbs or the "long" carbs that you need to be concentrating on.

Never heard of long and short carbs before but I'm pretty sure that's what he meant.

jesus.. let me guess, Whey Isolate?
Do those guys have a $100m ad campaign on at the moment? Everyone seems to be drinking this stuff like its the holy grail.

Replace protein shake with chicken breast. Why substitute food for protein substitute unless food is unavailable?

Yes simple carbs or short will cause insulin spikes. They are the ones that can make you fat

I blush when i read YOU of all people tell me Simple... or short.. carbs... *headswell* Glad to know I had the right idea, but wrong terminology. I can accept lacking in scientific terminology. Just being a 'tard hurts :P

I used to have them confused too. I thought simple carbs were good carbs and complex were bad. But basically you just think of it in terms of it being simple and complex for your body to break down. The harder your body has to work to break it down, the better when it comes to carbs. Cause if you have all kinds of energy and don't use it... straight to fat stores. lol.

Too much of just about any food can make you fat. Glycogen Load is just as important as Glycogen Index when dieting.
