    Question Favorite Spot

Just starting this thread to find out what different guys on here think of the various spots to pin.
I have heard alot of guys on here say they love the glutes, like its the best place, but I actually NEVER do mine, never goes well, always hurts super bad, etc.
I was also curious as to what size pins people are fond of?

I hear people say "ouch" when they hear of others' using 22g, or "ouch" about the idea of doing spots like the triceps or chest.

All I have ever used to so far is either 22g x 1" or 22g x 3/4". Vet grade stuff too, so its some of the dullest pins you can get.
With those things considered, I regularly rotate injections between my inner and outter triceps, various areas of my delts, my pecs, all over the place on my quads (sometimes low on the teardrop, other times high on the outside, etc) and even, and even using vet grade 22g I never have any problems.

But oddly enough, I CANNOT inject in my glute.
What can I say, taking it in the a** just hurts too much (DSM will probably disagree)

I want to try different spots like my biceps, lats, traps, etc. NEVER gonna do the calves. But I am not going to make my first time in those areas with a big, dull, 22g.

What are some popular sizes to use in these sensitive areas, like biceps, traps, etc?

What are some of your favorite spots to inject? (My fail safe spot is my quads, no matter how sore everything else is, or what might go wrong, I can ALWAYS count on my quads to make me happy)

Just curious. Sorry if this has already been asked before. Just looking for others' experience and points of view?

Wow, 25g? My buddy told me if I bought 25's I would be wasting my money, he said its too small to push the fluid through. 25g would be awesome!

I don't shoot glutes at all. I prefer delts, bi's, quads, tri's, in that order.

Now that I know 25g is something that for sure works (and alot of people use it looks like) it feels like a whole new world of possibilities has opened up. I wouldn't hesitate at all to try my biceps if i was using 25g.

By the way, BIG, I just read the other day that you had tore your left bicep last month (I think). How is it healing up?

    I despise hitting the quads.

glutes, delts, pecs, biceps.... hands down.

5/8 to 1-inch for all sites.

My first cycle I found out how easy and painless my delts were, and I ended up hitting them too often. Since i am right handed, I hit my left delt ALOT, until I woke up the next morning and my left shoulder was swollen, hot to the touch, in incredible pain, and i could hardly move it (due both to pain and lack of motion from swelling).
My buddy told me to "rub it out". So I spent the whole day lying on my side, with my left delt elevated, putting hot rice bags on it, and having my wife massage it as often as possible. My god did it hurt, her even touching it was bad. So having her grab it and try to pull it back and forth, pushing in, basically being really aggressive with it, like a deep tissue massage, was almost not worth it.
But, by the end of the day my delt was less swolled, didn't hurt as bad, was looser and easier to move, etc. After a couple days it was back to normal. My buddy tells me that I had built up too much scar tissue in my shoulder, and continuing to pin it all the time ended up irritating it.
So as much as I love the shoulders, I try to keep pinning them to a minimum (especially the left)

Just wanted to add that I got my new needles today. First time ever using medical grade 23g x 1".
Wow, 10x better than those vet grade 22g!
    Hardly felt it!
Next I am gonna try 25g!

If you find it hard to push through a 25g (definately dont draw with them) just run the syringe under hot tap water for 10 secs... pushes in so smooth

Thats a good idea! I just told my buddy today (same guy who told me not to use a 25g) that I was in the forum and was told 25g will work, and he told me it would take so long to push it through that my hand would cramp, etc.
I don't think it would be that hard if so many people here regularly use it, but worst comes to worst, the hot water should warm it up and thin it out just fine.
    Thanks for the info!

No worries. Ive watched some guys push their gear in super quick and I wonder how it doesnt cause abscesses sometimes. A 25g ensures a nice slow feed and none ever comes out of the pin site. roughly 7-10 secs/mL is how fast I push and my injects are usually 1.5-2mL.. no more of those 2.5mL pinning marathons.
