check out the diet section bro, if your on a budget chicken breast is probaly the cheapest source of protein (in australia anyway) i usualy take in 3 pounds of chicken or kangaroo a day. as for carbs oats are good and really cheap,beans,brown rice,veggies. people always talk about x amount of meals a day but for me at least i listen to my body, i never let myself get hungry and i never let myself get full i think by doing this you avoid unnecessary body fat stores. I am on a budget too, try eggs whites. I usually do 4 at a time, fry them in virgin pure olive oil (good Fats you need) and I fry them because I hate them raw, and dont like the slimy yolk removal. Once they are fried I give 3 or 4 of the yolks to my dogs on occasion or throw them away, and roll the egg whites up. Eggs are like 1.68 for a 18 pack here in TX at wally-world, and the whites are pure protein. A giant bottle of olive oil is like $6, and it will last forwever. :-)
