Tire / Sled Darg - Need to make a harness.

Hey guys.
Any thought on how to make good harness to pull some heavy weights (Rail Road Ties). Rope cuts into me. and backpack straps break / tear?
Im running out of ideas.
Need something like tractor trailer tie down straps I can stitch or something?

My sled came with some canvas straps. I tie one end to the sled, and the other end has a loop, and I put my weight belt through it, and put the belt on. It's not the best solution but it works.

A good harness is pretty expensive. Check out some military surplus stores for some alice suspenders, otherwise go with what Noomoto posted above. That's what I do. I just connect the weight to my weightbelt. Works just as well, IMO.

I was thinking I could try to find some material make something.
Will look into the Alice Suspenders!
