Guys,
Im a boxer and size and muscle wise I am pretty much where I need to be once I finish cutting, except for my necks and traps.
However after having some time off, my key lifts have gone done (I do powerlift explosive momements) and this some of my power has gone.
So im going to cycle for a few months to increase my strength... But I also need to increase neck size and strength too.
I am aware that I need to keep my calories say close at or just above maintenance level and not have a massive excess as I am solely interested in strength!
However how do I counter effect the need to gain size in my neck?
Should I keep say overall an excess of 500 calories each day and to prevent muscle breakdown on say chest and legs etc, just do warm ups and keep sets and reps low.
What about protein? How much should I take? 1g per lb of bodyweight???
