Hello everybody. First post to the board. First Test shot ever 2 days ago. I'll be 41 in less than 2 weeks and have been having on and off talks about the possibility of suplimental Testosterone therapy with my PCP for 2 years now. Back then my levels were in the low 300 range. I told him I'd like time to consider and try some other things out prior to diving into this sort of thing. Well fast forward a bit and last week I met with a specialist/endocrinologist and the labs read a 46 testosterone level. So here I am.
Don't really know what to expect from the boards here just thought I'd make a brief intro and say hello and take things steady from there.
And for those of you that are curious Doc started me on Testosterone Cyp 200mg IM every 2 weeks. I've read that the effect can be noticed after the first dose. I've noticed nothing in the way of improved energy, increased libido, altered mood. I may as well have taken an asprin. I have only a limited knowledge of the topic so I figured I'd hang around here for a while and read up.
So far I can't say that I've had any benefits from this first dose but then again it's only been in my system 2 days.
