Need some help from the web savy people.

Here is the deal. My fiance and I are building a website for our wedding so family and friends who live away can see whats going on.
I know some of you have already checked out that the first sentence...lol

We want to add some flash movies to the site of where the ceremony and honeymoon will be taking place. The site which is wedding wire . com (without spaces) has a site editor and a place to add flash.
I have downloaded youtube downloader and RIVA FLV encoder to get the movies and convert them to flash. And each video ends in FLV saying it's a flash movie so I know they are converted.
Problem is each time I try to upload the file it starts loading then tells me it is an invalid file. I just don't get it. What the hell am I doing wrong?
Been trying to figure this out for a week now and even searched on Google but I understand half of the techie talk.
Can someone out there help me out. This is important to us and we would like it to be perfect in our eyes.
Now you can start calling me gay.

I know nothing when it comes to building/editing a web page. Only thing i might be able to help with is maybe if you end me the file (if its not too big), i can convert it and send it back.

I only skimmed your message while at a red light, but have a quick thought. If you have areas where they allow HTML, you could embed the YouTube movies and skip the downloading/conversion/uploading process. Will check in again soon to see how it is going.
