    oats with oat bran

just wondering if this was okay. i didn't notice when i purchased it but it is old fashioned oats with oat bran. the macros are the same as my regular oatmeal, just wondering if it is a bad thing? it definitely makes a better oatmeal pancake.

Its prob better - oat bran is the bran seperated from the flour. If you comapre oat flakes directly to oat bran, the bran has more fiber and even more protein I believe. The product you have must have a small amount of oat bran added since marcos are identical to regular oat flakes (oatmeal). Bottom line - its fine ....
