Will splitting dosage help with acne

Ok so I am on 200mgs every week. Dropped from 250. I noticed a little decrease in the bacne but I was wondering if it would help even more if I split the dosage. Here is my theory.

One shot a week let's just say my test levels shoot up to a 1,000 but if I do half they only shoot up to 500 then come down to 250 then next shot another 500 which still puts the highest point only to 750. Of course I am just throwing out numbers for theory sake.

Also what would a split dose do to my strength, libido, or anything else?

actually 2 shots a week would eliminate the valleys more than the peaks, considering half life and the overlap time of the shots your peak would still be relatively high, maybe not quite as high but there would be no appreciable valley in your levels, my bacne is still there but much better when I lowered my dose, my conclusion is that higher doses of test cause SOME bacne but some of it is from the E2 levels also. I split my doses a little differently than most but still similair to what your asking about.......I pin 100mgs every 5 days.....no valleys, feel good, less bacne......so far so good.

Makes sense. What was your original dose/protocol and what did you reduce it to that you noticed a difference?

I was pinning 200 mgs test every 5 days and felt really good for quite some time then the acne went from minor to not so minor and didn't feel as good, upped my AI a little and that helped too but lowering the dose seemed to be the answer for the way I feel as a whole......I now pin 100 mgs every 5 days and take 1.5 mgs of Ananstrozol every 5 days, split into 2 doses. When I was pinning once a week ( when I first started)I could notice the valley by day 6 so I changed up my schedule to fix that, some people can't tell a difference but I sure could.

Well last week I soaked twice in an Epsom salt bath and last night the wife said my back looks better than it has in a while. Maybe the epsom salt helped, maybe with the weather getting cooler that is helping. Maybe I will try this for a couple of weeks than maybe try splitting the dosage then.

The lady who does her facials suggested it to her. And yes I had the wife tell her I was on TRT so she would know what she was dealing with. She also recommended me coming in and getting a "backcial" every couple of months. Basically its a facial on your back.

I have some anecdotal evidence for you: I am also on 200mg/week Cyp. I broke my injections into two a week from the very start. For ten months my E2 was low, and rock solid. Finally, I got tired of injecting twice a week and went to once a week for about a month before my last labs. My E2 shot up to "borderline high" according to my doc. I forget the number. My theory, with zero science to back it up, is that doubling my injection caused more of it to be converted and raised my levels. I am back to injecting twice a week, and we will see what my next blood work looks like.

i just started splitting my does to twice a week, i believe it does help reduce E2 conversion!

My friend... I had the HARDEST time getting rid of acne on my forehead. I went to a dermatologist multiple times... I wound up having to get Tazorac in the strongest dose available.

As I have recommended to another before... go to your local Rite Aid and look for "PanOxyl" It was the ONLY face soap bar that got rid of my acne. I also highly recommend getting some olay daily moisturizer as well though. If you dry your face or any part of your skin out to much for that matter, it will respond by putting out even more oil and you will wind up with even more acne.

Once in the morning, and at night and use the olay both times right after your skin dries. This SHOULD help.

Battled this for months....my dr uped my minocycline to 100mg twice a day and got it under control....on 200mg cyp a week....ask your Dr.

Did you ever have problems with acne on your back with the split dose or the single dose? My E2 is under control right now. I am right at low 20's if I remember from my last bloodwork.

No problems at all on my face. Its only my back, and not even really my shoulders. Its basically all in the area of my back that is in contact with a seat(Office/driving etc...) I took Accutane as a teenager because I had acne really bad. Cleared it right up. I only occasionally got a pimple at all up until I started TRT.

I assume what you are talking about will also work on my back?

100 mg TWICE a day. Thats quite a bit of Minocyclin isn't it? My wife was on it and she was suprised when I got 100mg pills. She was only taking 50 mg pills.

I get slight acne on my shoulders and lower back, but it didn't seam to get worse when I went to once a week injections. However, I went back to twice a week after a short period of time, so I cannot accurately judge.

That's good stuff JV.....anecdotal or not there seems to be more and more people experiencing good results with twice a week pins, if it does affect e2 at all those of us that are sensitive and get bacne from it being too high very well may benefit from pinning twice a week.

I think it would... it will dry out your skin. You could also try the trick of taking a bath and adding just a LITTLE bit of bleach to the water... like a half cup. I personally would try the PanOxyl first, then taking a bath with dawn and then if that doesn't work, try using some bleach in your bath water.
