Buddy of mine and myself are looking into making our own pre workout with some bulk supps and would like some input from people. The biggest question I have at this point is how much of each component we would want to take and also if its possible to just make a bulk batch up and take like a normal pre workout or if we'd actually need to constantly weight everything out as i've seen on some other places.
Here's the ingredients we're leaning toward at this time:
Beta-Alanine
Citrulline Malate
BCAAs
Caff
1,3 Dimethylamylamine (aware of studies showing it can have negative effects however don't plan on having dose nearly as high as those in studies I read)
Would consider creatine and arginine (both seem to bloat a bit though)
Also trying to put in a little more research into adding
EAAs
Taurine
green tea
and probably some yohimbe.
Flavoring will be an experiment in itself given the poor taste of some ingredients but we'll tweak it as needed. More concerned at this point with dosing of ingredients but would be more than open to any additional suggestions for things to add/ modify.
