    Oats!! Quick Question

Hey guys, i stopped having the "quick ready sachets" of oats.
i bought a bag of oats, natural untouched.
problem is i struggle to eat them in any way or form.

my question is if i put the amount im supposed to be eating, in a grinder and grind them very finely, then mix it in a protein shake
are the macro's of the oats still the same as they were before grinding?

    yes.

no need to grind. just put them in your protein shake and down the hatch.

    keep it simple and easy

also I like to use them for breakfast to make a ''protein porridge'', or just a quick meal when I'm in a rush

1 scoop strawberry myfusion, 100gram oats, 300ml water

mix all up in bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, quick, easy and delicious

Hey dan whats the macros for the myofusion? Ive been using sugar free jam but sometimes on high carb days i use alot and would prefer a better source for flavor.. Does it provide substantial flavor?

yeah you would swear is one of them flavoured porridge mix's that are full of sugar it actually taste that good, but its healthy

it dosnt have to be myofusion, use any protein you have, experiment with the amounts of water, 300ml makes it nice creamy mix, if you like it thicker then use less water, but I reckon you will like it once you try it . . . . .

    myofusion strawberrys and cream

    per scoop (36g)

    cals 147
    from fat 27
    total fat 5g
    sat fat 0.5g
    protein 25g
    carb 5g
    from sugar 2g

    Oat Pancakes:

1 cup oats (just regular old fashioned oats or quick oats)
1 cup egg whites (about 7 large eggs)
1 cup fat free cottage cheese (or 1% if you desire)

    Splenda all you want
    drop of vanilla, if desired
    baking powder 1 tablespoon

First: Blend the oats in a blender until real powdery (no water just blend dry )
Add all the above ingredients and blend until a good consistency for a pancake

Cook on griddle/pan which should be real hot after sprayed with Pam....and then cook like a regular pancake

    TOP with:
    Sugar free syrup
and possibly a dollop of plain Greek yogurt to spread around the pancake and sprinkle some splenda on top of the yogurt

    ENJOY!

MAKES 3 BIG PANCAKES! so good for 3 meals.

i dont mind oats, i eat oat bran which is more difficult to eat then rolled oats., but I add a pinch of salt and a little cinnamon, tastes better and no extra calories

i get over 100g of carbs for straight oat bran everyday
