TRT pellets, 2% E/T ratio and a sad story.
Amazingly since I have been on TRT, I discovered two of my friends are on the pellet TRT protocol. Both were given an AI up front and both have suffered badly. Once I discovered these friends were on TRT I asked how they were doing. They both exclaimed that they were better before TRT and basically have dead wood that the little blue pill won’t help despite the fact it use to. One was even considering having a pump permanently installed.. I asked if they had blood work and they both were kind enough to share. Both were at a non-detect level of estrogen and both were told that their T/E ratio should be at 2% or lower. It would seem that this is the philosophy of the Pellet doctors, at least some. Despite the fact both had very good T levels at free and total, their doctors have literally depleted all E. I of course directed them to this website and also informed them they should stop the AI and wait for blood work. One has been on the TRT for 3 years and never has even seen his BW until I asked about it. The other has been on for 6 months. Both started out at a normal E level and both were quickly depleted upon starting TRT because they blindly followed the DR. protocol and assumed the Doc new best.
