Found out my nephew used a PH, chances of his growth plates closing?

So I was over at my nephews house (he's 17), and he had a friend over, and i overheard him say he took a prohormone for 4 weeks. after his friend left, i approached him about it and promised not to tell his parents, and made him tell me exactly what he took and for how long. He said he used "Androdrol" for 4 weeks. He said he used it about 3 months ago and has had no side effects even though he only used a test booster and an AI for his PCT

What are the chances he stunted his growth?

I looked up this androdrol PH and this is what was in it (scary stuff)

I don't know exactly which pro hormone that is but I'll say in four week with the quality and legitimacy of ph these days I really wouldn't sweat it..I don't think a doctor could tell u much more than that..keep em off that crap though by all means I like my test

Hard to say. The idea that steroid use can prematurely fuse growth plates has never been proven. This is a theory some have and it's often reported as fact but it's not. Some of the theories make some solid claims that could support the idea, but that's as far as it's ever gotten.

Even though the growth plate issue is what's normally used to scare kids away, the real issue of concern is damaging an underdeveloped androgen system. This we know can occur, and while some can get away with it it's still very risky as the damage is often permanent and irreversible.

Hormonal imbalances, delaying maturity...most importantly, low testosterone symptoms which there are numerous and this can be extremely hard to correct when the damage is done at such a young age. Further, as low testosterone is far more dangerous than many people tend to realize, it can actually lead to many far more serious conditions ignored for long periods of time. Low test has been directly linked to Alzheimer's disease as well as being a major contributor to diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease. Not that your nephew is in danger of these things...just answering the question as best I can.

Like said above, odds are your nephew will be fine. Most of the current PH's aren't worth very much and even if it was a good one (there are a few good ones still out there) it's unlikely a simple 4wk plan is going to cause any real damage much less permanent damage. I would definitely encourage him to stay away from them though.

Well you could right doctoral on that subject, but in short, and what everybody here seems to care about...effin up your endocrine system (not your androgen system, no such thing) could lead to shutting down or limiting your normal production of natty test. Then the poor sob will trt the rest of his life.

Androgen system? I dont believe this term exists. I think you mean the endocrine system.
