Is My recomended RDI makes me fat?

    Hey guys,

I am 6'1 150 lbs 10.5% bf. According to the nutritional formula I should consume 2400cal daily,
So I've been on a 2000 cal diet to cut but my bmi hit a plateu I feel liike I'm eating too much so should Igo on a 1000cals a day diet?

I'm pretty sure I'm using correct multiplier because I go to gym 3 times a week on my lunch break which qualifies me as moderately active. Outside of that I just sit around and on the weekends I just sit on sofa and play video games all day.

    Mate,

I'll be real honest. If you are 150lbs, and 6'1", and you think you need to cut, i'm thinking the only way to do that is to stick your finger down your throat after a meal and purge.

99% of everyone here will tell you to bulk up, NOT cut!

Seriously, you need to eat more.

    Good luck

I gonna have to agree with 405 on this one: working out @ lunch is the way to go, unless you want to get stuck in the gym after work until 6PM, it's like a second job,
unless you're some rich forex trader douche who doesn't go to work but hires a personal trainer and nutritionist

If i were ur height and weight the last thing that i would worry about doing is getting on the tread mill. The whole get down to 6 then bulk to 8 and be ripped is not very realistic man. You need to eat, put some nice size on and then cut.
Im also around 6'1. I can remember years ago when i was a teenager i was stuck at 170 or so. All i wanted to be was 200 pounds. I tried everything including a cycle but couldnt hit it. One day i was talking to a guy at the gym. He told me to eat everything in site for 6 months. I mean everything. He said that once i break the plateau i am at, i wont ever go back. I put on 30 pounds that winter then cut in the spring. It was the best 6 month cycle i ever did without drugs. Lol. I can still remember that i still wasnt 200 so i did a cycle that summer and ended up at 210. Never looked back since.
Sorry for rambling but im full of percocets with swollen balls. Bottom line is eat eat eat.

I think if you cut to 6% with that little muscle mass, you might actually die if you missed a meal.

In all seriousness, start lifting more, stop doing cardio, and eat more. You can cut with that little muscle, but you will look awful and feel awful too. Make sure you're getting 200g+ protein a day. Every time you eat, make sure you've got a substantial amount of protein and carbs.
