Not tried any sleep aids but I've got zma and some taurine they both say they CAN aid with sleep but maybe I'd b better trying the ones Austinite & lunk suggest although that would b next week before I got them unless they're OTC
Has anyone tried something called good nytol?
You can get it OTC here maybe try this?
Dyphenhydramine is OTC....its in several sleep aids...perhaps even the nytol your inquring about

Started taking ZMA a week ago. I think it's helping out. Melatonin leaves me groggy in the morning.

milky i take melatonin (3mg) every night about 1hr before im ready for bed and the stuff is awesome! of course i never had a prob with sleep but my TRT doc put it on the list along with my other supps. it is not like sleep meds IMO cuz i just feel naturally tired and fall asleep and sleep well! u can get it at any drug store. no script required. before trying actual sleep meds id suggest giving it a shot.![]()

I'm a light sleeper anyway, but drinking water before bed or having stuff on your mind are causes of disruptive sleep.
Trying having a gym session nearer the end of the day, maybe a couple hours before bed. If your mind cant rest, physically exhaust your body. It helps a lot.
What helps me is using an air purifier for the white noise so nothing will disturb me, except getting up to pee a couple time at night. lol
Ok ok guys I've just ordered some 25g 1" I'm gonna do it d day will b dec 10th as I have bloods done on this day as well now all I need is a volunteer to be my wing man as so to speak and talk me through it....... I was SO afraid to do it myself you would not believe it until after the 1st time. I also use to do the count to 3 and jab but have found personally that doing it very slow and steady I feel it even less as in nothing.
Smaller is better. Fill with a 22-25g and inject with a 27g. ALWAYS replace the needle after drawing. A new needle is so much sharper and goes in easier than one used even 1x to draw. Also it's only like 10 cents.
BTW I still dont LIKE to do it as many claim they do but at least I'm past the fear and know it doesnt hurt.

How protective of your sleep are you? I turn off all ringers and put my cell phone on silent. Also have light block curtains in the bedroom and everyone in the house knows not to wake me unless the house is burning down around me. Taking an ambian and reading a book helps me, although I would like to get off the ambian but with melatonin I was up to 7mg a night. My doc said you can go as high as 9mg but can have freaky nightmares as a seide effect. Try the ambian and see how that works for you, just make sure you want to sleep or it will f**k you up.
Ahhh but it's so much fun to watch someone else who has taken an Ambien when they dont go to sleep right away, especially women. LOL I find the Brand name is much better and consistent than the generic. I swear (and know others who say the same) some of the generic are blanks and i get nothing but I have never had that issue with the brand name.
What's an ambien?
