and I was all proud when I got to 225 in grade 11... thats just simply insane.

But my point was made with that russian 13 year old... even with her back arch, she still had the same ROM with her press

does it matter really? hes a freak. Doesnt matter how hard you train, how much you eat, how much you gear, some people have the bio-mechanics for heavy lifts

plz dont try this at home

Lol I don't have the joint/tendons to powerlifting. Although I've never trained for it either

yes u know id like to see a study on this. this looks like a good topic for someone like atomini.. think about it. that dudes stats probably arent that different than some of ours.. yet he can press twice what i can.. why?? how??

where does strength come from? apart from muscle size.. like where dude!???!?

shape of ribcage plays a huge part. My coach could tell just by a build which people would be worth training. weight becomes harder to lift the more you bend your elbows. These guys who are moving close to half a ton have a ROM of less than 10". If they had to lower the bar even one more inch into their chest, 90% could not get the bar back in an upwards motion

statwise he looks a lot bigger than most of the pics of guys I see on here. He's massive if you can't tell, big chest, huge thighs. There's a lot to powerlifting, how you train is a big part of it. Also notice he is wearing a bench shirt, 1 or 2 plies I don't know, maybe a little research and could figure it out. his raw bench is probably between 450-500 if I were to make a guess though could be higher. that 700 lbs is a very impressive lift though. but you need to compare apples to apples.

He's a beast and obviously will be into strongman competitions, not bodybuilding by any meant.
Personally I would be more happy benching 310 like I did in high school 5' 8" 155 lbs and I was able to do 30 100% legal pull ups to make the school record.

I would be happy benching 225 right now though. lol

Pretty awesome. Powerlifting is boring to me but I can appreciate the work that goes into it

well from the looks of how he paused at the bottom of the rep, and then seemingly with not a ton of effort pushed it right on up i think he can do more than another 5 lbs..
