    Need advice on a kickstart

Hello everyone! I'm a 35 yo male and I'm 6'2" and 285lbs. I've had gastric bypass and since my lowest weight 3 years ago 218lbs I gained some back. Another big thing contributing to all of this is that I'm a truck driver so any and all of my workouts consist of push-ups, sit-ups, and running. Gyms aren't a consistent option for me. Reading on and off has led me to thinking that anavar and test is my best chance at getting the boost I need. Am I correct in thinking this? I'm not looking at seriously bulking up, I would like to just see and feel the gains in order to get back to my cycling regiment of 15-20 miles a day. What's my best options out there?

If your main goal is just to get back to cycling as much as you used to, you really don't need gear IMO. On top of your weight, I just don't really think its worth it.

How much are you cycling now?

Gastric bypass does the work for the most part in year one, but starting in year 2 it is the new, healthy habits patients have worked on that keep the weight off. The fact that you state your weight gain is because you’re a truck driver probably means you eat what’s convenient and not what’s healthy. Also most truck drivers do very little exercise while they are hauling. I would suggest changing your eating behaviors, cleaning up your diet, and increasing your activity. Visit the nutrition section someone there has to have ideas for healthy eating while on the run. I would also visit the lifting techniques and workout questions I’m sure the members there could help you design a workout program to fit the trucker’s life style.

Yes, as a truck driver I do not get a lot of exercise now and though the main reason for the weight gain was because of poor eating and exercise habits what really contributed to all of it was being on an antidepressant that helped me eat thru my sorrows, I'm done with that now and on the road to being myself now. I don't have an issue eating healthy and I do stay active, I just need a kick and I'm tired of all these fad diets and what not. Didn't mean to word anything wrong, so ill lurk around a bit more, before I make any big decisions. Thanks for the welcome and info thus far, I do appreciate it.

I'm not cycling right now, just running for now. I would like to get down to 240 or 230 before I clip back in. I just seem to be on a plateau energy and strength wise.

You just posted in the "new member forum." They are just saying to post your questions in the Q&A section. Sounds to me like you need to get a solid workout routine and diet down and be able to maintain that for 8-12 months at a bare minimum before considering anything other than food and exercise. Cycling at your weight is dangerous.

You'll be glad you took the correct precautions and when you are back cycling (biking) full strength and can access a gym regularly, you can probably pull the trigger on gear once you have done all of your research. It's just not a good idea right now. I wouldn't bother running any gear ever though if you can't have regular access to a gym. I just don't feel it's really worth it.

    Good luck!
