Convert mg to iu for HGH

I got a scrip for HGH but it's for one of those pen things which seems to work in mgs whereas I have been reading about the dosing in ius for such a long time now and feel like I am more familiar with it.

I would like to convert a mg dose of GH (for example 0.3 mg) to international units so that I can compare. Or instead could you tell me how many ius in 5mg so I know how much is in a vial and I will work out the conversion from that. Could anyone here who knows how to do this please help me?

I'm well aware of the discrepancy but its 3 according to every US GH pharmaceutical producer. If Genentech, Eli Lilly and serono all label their product as 1mg = 3iu then that's goon enough for me.

Yep! My genotropin pens are also in mg but it's universal and well known that 1mg = 3 iu
